This is the best all around Filipino food in town, bar none. (Some places specialize in one or two items, but here the entire menu is 4/5 or higher). The grilled stuff is best eaten in the restaurant. Always consistent taste and service. Prices may have gone up but the quality, volume and taste are still there. Value for money, and fun nights on Friday and Saturday, live band playing.

Very average experience. The professionally dressed guy who met us near the door didn't even say hello or ask how many in our party. He sat us, left, brought back the silverware 🍽 and plates and I said hello! No response. Later he came back and asked for our order. Professional but not friendly at all. Definitely did not make us feel welcomed. Calamares dish looked good on the menu and when it arrived but it was not hot. Lukewarm at best. Plus the calamari was chewy. If you order multiple entrées, they may come out in stages. Most of the following orders were at least warm, some hot. Flavor was okay on most but not worth a trip back to Artesia. Plus the parking lot spaces are very narrow. Bring your Smartcar or Mini Cooper for best results. Hopefully your experience will be better than ours and...enjoy!

I do notice that their prices have gone up and the portions have gotten smaller over the years but the quality and flavor are still just as good. Everytime we visit although it can be a bit pricey now, it is still worth it because the taste never disappoints. My cravings for filipino food, this place always hits the spot. My family love it here too and enjoy the atmosphere and the filipino food.

The Baseline: For Filipino fine dining, the food the flavors need to be authentic with the flavors of the Philippines , the portions have to be properly sized, the service must be great, and the restaurant must be comfortable and stylish. Food: I have had several dishes in the past at Gerry’s Grill and as a lover of pork this is a great place to fulfill that love. We did not have the Crispy Pata that I like from Gerry’s but I highly suggest. For starters the pork Sinigang had a great tamarin flavor with large chunks of pork, okra, daikon radish, chilis, and string beans to make a delicious soup. I did get my standard Sizzling Sisig which is a staple when I come to Gerry’s that is even tastier after you mix the egg into the sizzling pan it fries up into the pork mixture. The pork BBQ (which is really grilled pork… I am sorry but you can’t call it BBQ without sticking it into a smoker for some hours) was tasty and charred to give that flame grilled flavor. The Inihaw na Liempo (Pork belly) was grilled to its bacon adjacent perfection. The Pinakbet (Filipino vegetables mixed with shrimp paste) was really enjoyed by my family but not me because of the shrimp paste. Also make
